Wood Cubes
What type of wood should I use?
I build a table that will be covered with bits of walnut (cubic small) But I need to use a kind of wood as the basis for this square, I think the whole process is similar to "plating" of work ... that are cubes and not wood sheets --- I need this table should be a beautiful object durable. Good is for everyone inside is not outside ....... thank you! 
The table I'm building is not too large, only 60cm by 60cm .... the only thing I need to emphasize is that this product should be able to be in a store like Liberty (London), for example, so all the materials I use to be fine and all ....... a walnut ... Built a coffee table long time ago. Used oak in a "floor" model over plywood as material Basic (Heavy) Something that I copy part of the display store. glanced at the bottom and folds was used as well. Although there was a better year than I did. Walnut is ideal for building furniture and as you use small pieces, you can cut and arrange to show the grain better. Old purist would not add to flood & spot. A hand rubbed oiled finish gives a picture similar to or built into a bright shine. sounds good. Cordially
