How to run a 12 volt fan from a 6 volt source.?
Hi all,
I'm wanting to build a step up circuit to run a 12 volt pc case fan at full speed from a 6 volt regulated source (constant 6 volts). What is the best way to do this? Fan is rated 12 volts at 2.4watts, so it only pulls 0.2 amps.

Sorry should of added its "6 volt DC to 12 volt DC".
It can be done but at an expense greater than replacing the fan.
