Why don't Portuguese beer bottles have twist-off caps?
When did the beer companies in the states make the change - back in the 70's ??
As a general rule of thumb, Ideas/fads take 5 - 10 years to cross the Atlantic but the Beer Bottle twist-off cap is taking allot longer.Actuall beer taste makes up for this shortfall.
Because we can easily open them with a especial tool and we don't have to do laws that don't allow people to drink on the streets.
In North America you do improvements to do everything easy and fool Prof then when something goes wrong there's law-sues in here everything is done at you own risk this way you have to use your head, it is working for centuries.
Is not that North America is bad, I'm just explaining our way.
