Tellin Shells
OMG!!!!! Braces?!!!!!!!!! no way!!!!?
HOLY SHIZZZZZLEEEEE!
i went to the dentist like in sept and she said i need braces and so my mom was tellin me yesterday that soon shell have to take me to the ortho to get that checked out.
but i have some questions.
1. what are they going to do?
2. how do braces get put on?
3. do they drill holes or something?
4. does it hurt?
info or any experience w/ braces (stories) would be greatly appreciated. 
1. they first have an inspection of your teeth, take pictures of your teeth, and maybe xrays.
then they make a mold of your teeth with this yucky plaster.
a few weeks later they will put them on.
2.the person will first put these ring like things on your molars, second, they will put cement on your teeth and atttach the brackets. next they will put a wire through and you are done! but the brackets take a long time and so do the rings.
3. nope!
4. nope it doesnt hurt but you cant close your mouth and it pulls it open.
your teeth will be pretty sore. i couldnt even eat a grape or a pb and j sandwich. i say you eat mashed potatoes and yogurt, pudding, rice, and jello. and VERY soft non chew foods. just hitting the spoon against your tooth hurts!
you will get over this in 3-4 days though so don't worry!
braces are cute! and you will have a beautiful smile afterwards. you might feel bad after a while seeing your friends without that metal mouth, but in the end your teeth will be even more AH-MAZE-ING!
