I have a 1972 Dodge Executive Motorhome and the converter has gone out. I need to find out more about it. m?
How do I find out about this piece of equipment? The decal on the front says, "Saf-T-Trail Cat # TU-331" 115V 60HZ 4.8A
12.5V DC 30A" and it was built by Litton Precision Products, Inc. A company which apparently no longer exists in this incarnation. I need to know exactly what it is so I can replace it with the right one.
you can replace that one with any newer type converter and they will work just fine,you wont find an original part for that one,the newer ones are better anyway they have 3 way protection on them to keep from over loading any circuits,any one who sales parts for motor homes will have one to fit in it,i have a site for those if i ever find it i,ll send it to you ,they have those real cheap,but you can also find them about anywhere on line now days,good luck with it.
