i recently lost my best friend .... well he's at peace now. every year we used to go to the mathew street ?
festival, but the next few days is going to hard because this weekend is the mathew street festival full of beatle tribute bands should i go and try to enjoy the beatle sound alikes or give it amiss this year. We used to have some beers then get some ladies back to his flat and have Beatle concerts back at his flat . 22 years we have been mates you could write a book on the things we've been up to . any suggestions. cheers. The same thing happened to me. Sounds identical!!! My friend passed away from cancer three years ago.
It was hard the first time an annual event we attended came around. Instead of being sad, I blew up a picture of him and me, put it in my place and all of our friends who came over celebrated our friendship with him, toasted him, and dedicated the weekend to his memory.
Remember the good times with him and that you got the time you did. It's tough, but wouldn't you rather celebrate than mourn? You could see if the band will dedicate a song in his memory in front of the entire crowd!
