English is not my native language and I didn't get the meaning of this quote (from Billy Graham, the famous evangelist).
What does Billy Graham mean by that?

I figure it like this...parrots are known to speak and repeat what they hear. If a person who speaks bad or whatever in their house, the parrot will be able to repeat what they say.
For Example, lets say I was saying bad things about a girl...like "She's stupid and has fake hair"...the parrot would hear what I say, then repeat it "She's got fake hair!". Now if I give that parrot to the Town Gossip, they're going to know what I've been saying behind closed doors and then spread the story around town...
But if somoene's a good person(not necessarily only Christian) and doesn't speak ill of others behind closed doors...they wouldn't have anything to worry about giving their parrot to a town gossip...
