I dont know where to cut my guinea pigs feet?!?
I had a guinea pig nail trimming day, cutting all my piggies overgrown nails. No prob, no quick incidents, even on dark nails. 7 of these guys live outside (in pairs, groups or singularly). Treacle lives alone inside, and when we got her her nails were ridiculously long (with double curls). now they're just almost a full curl. The back claws are fine, but the front ones are the problem (curly). They have each got deformaties. I dont know whether to cut them because shes got dark nails and you cant see the quick. One paw looks like a nail sticking out, the other looks like a bit of poo moulded on. She doesnt like it being pulled, so im thinking its just a pad? the other one is hard to describe, but its like an extra claw... will a few hours on concrete every day sort out her problems? xx

If you are unsure leave it,would should know if its a nail,when it starts to grow. If not,don't worry no problems. Yes poping her out in a run on concrete may help it,if its nail. Other than that,don't worry.xxx
