Ivory Satin tablecloth with Chocolate Brown napkins?
Does anyone have any reception pictures with the above. I think this would look good together but my florist says I should do champagne napkins instead. If someone has a pic of that i would love to see. My colors are Chocolate brown and Latte color. We are also doing satin ivory chair covers. Any suggestions?? ANy pics??
It depends on the rest of your decor and what effect you are going for. For instance, if you have flowers or centerpieces on the table with really strong colors, the darker napkins will be fine. They are also more informal.
However, you don't want the napkins to be the focal point of the tables. Since the tables sound as though they are going to be mostly ivory, I would go with a more subtle color. Which is why your florist suggested champagne. I think the champagne would be more elegant.
If you're still not sure, dress up a table using both colors. If you can't do that, obtain fabric swatches and compare. Best of luck!
