WHAT THE HECK IS THIS CHICK DOING?
okay so i still have this little chick from the question i posted yesterday. and i made him this little fake nest inside the old guinea pig cage i have. and he keeps hopping out trying to flap his little wings. but he doesnt even seem ready to be flying. his perch sucks. so what should i do? he has feathers and stuff but im afraid that maybe he can perch and his legs are hurt. but he doesnt mind so i dont think thats it. does anyone have a birdy time line they could give me that might help?

They often practice flapping their wings to get ready to fly. They can not just start flying without building up muscles and stuff. Even when the flying starts, at first it will barely get off the ground. They have to build up to the real thing.
